The Cuvée 1845 JM, produced in small quantities, was created to celebrate the heritage of nearly 170 years of tradition.

It was in 1845 that Jean-Marie Martin acquired the Fonds-Préville residence in Macouba and began the production of rum which he simply named with his initials: JM .

The smallest and oldest active distillery on the island, JM uses exclusively sugar cane from its estate and spring water springing from Montagne Pelée to produce its rums. The experience acquired and the mastery of know-how have made JM rum ​​the most prestigious of Martinique's old agricultural rums.

This exceptional brandy is the result of a blend of rums that have aged for at least 10 years in old 200 liter oak barrels.

On the palate, the Cuvée 1845 JM wonderfully expresses the incomparable typicity of old JM rums: dominant aromas of spices, pepper, coriander, gingerbread, but also subtle notes of vanilla...
